Soon Sammy will be working with and training FCCLA students in Utah.

One of the great things FCCLA students do is write “Thank you” letters and cards. That is something my father emphasized to me as well. So it always makes me feel great when I receive one. Here is one of my favorites from Texas:

Dear Sammy,

We appreciate your coming to San Saba and sharing your message (Saving is a great habit) at our schools. We enjoyed meeting you. The children loved meeting you. Because of you and your books we have had amazing experiences, your program will benefit us for life…

Thank you as well for inspiring me. When we first started reading our books to kids we never imagined we would be working with high school students and having them enjoy reading our books to younger students as well.
